Jeep has launched a transformed model of Liberty in 2006. It is more suitable to owners who want their SUV to be compatible even off-highway. It is a four wheel drive and 160 hp is the standard, but the 4-cyl gas engine isn’t there anymore. The alloy wheels measure 16 inches and it carries the trademark Jeep grill with vertical seven rectangles and round headlights. There are three levels in the 2006 Jeep Liberty: Renegade, Sports and Limited.
2006 Jeep Liberty is an anti-skid special with an exterior tire. It is rated the highest in the 2006 safety test for frontal and rear protection and has optional airbags in side curtains.
Other available options are leather upholstery and power roof that add up to its interiors. It comes with only a 5-speed automatic, but 6-speed is available as an option. Liberty engine in the most basic model is a 3.7 liter.
